Article Processing Charges (APCs)

ARADO Business Journal (ABJ) is a Gold Open Access journal that follows a transparent author-pays model. To ensure sustainable publishing and long-term digital preservation, a publication fee applies only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Waiver and Discount Policy

ABJ is committed to removing financial barriers for researchers from low-resource settings. Full waivers (100%) and partial discounts are available for:

• Authors from low-income and lower-middle-income economies, as classified by the World Bank and Research4Life.
• Authors facing demonstrable financial hardship (e.g., unfunded research, early-career researchers without institutional support).

Waiver requests must be submitted to the editorial office (abj@arado.org) at the time of submission. Approval of a waiver has no influence on the editorial decision.

Coverage Provided by ARADO Includes:

• Editorial and peer-review management through the OJS platform.
• DOI registration via Crossref.
• Professional copyediting and typesetting.
• Production of full-text PDF, JATS XML, and HTML versions.
• Long-term digital preservation through the ARADO Digital Library and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
• Open-access dissemination under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

No Influence on Editorial Decisions

Editorial decisions at ABJ are based solely on the scholarly merit, originality, and methodological soundness of the manuscript. Neither the APC nor the approval of a waiver has any bearing on the acceptance or rejection of any submission. The publisher (ARADO) plays no role in editorial decisions.
